Very random, typical me
Hi. It is the first day of school for this week because of the snowdays. I was right-my chorale teacher is a little psycho, and rightly so, because half the people in the class have no idea what they’re doing. This is because they TALK ALL THE TIME, instead of paying attention. It’s quite annoying.
Anyhow, I’m trying to think of something of vital importance that happened today, but I’m not having much luck. I thought I lost my flute, but that turned out to be a false alarm as it was at home the whole time. I actually handed in a great majority of my homework on time (for once in my aca dec career). I have a headache, and more aca dec homework to do as soon as I get motivated.
A few weeks ago, I went to a recording studio to make two CDs (one was with the Celtic band I’m in with three of my friends, the other with just me). I got back three of the songs from my solo CD today because I needed audition material to send in for a scholarship. They aren’t as good as I thought they would be. One of the problems is that I didn’t practice enough. They’re with piano and vocals, and I recorded the tracks separately. Sometimes I had trouble accompanying myself. That is one disadvantage of arranging your own accompaniments without music; you, or at least, I, play it differently every time.
Hey! Another important thing: I have found out that the disease causing my blindness, Leber’s Optic Neuropathy, is very rare, and can possibly be fixed with surgery! (Isn’t it sad that after 17 years, I finally get motivated to look this stuff up?) Anyway, I’m really skeptical about surgery. What if it damages my brain or something? I mean, think about it. There’s nothing wrong with my eyes; it’s the optic nerve behind them, which is connected wrongly to the brain. So what if something goes awry at a crucial moment? What if they make a wrong cut somewhere? What if it starts raining big purple marshmallows? What if my dog sprouted wings and developed a wasplike sting? OK, I’m done, haha.
One last thing before I sign off. I was inspired to add a little Harry Potterness to this entry by what G did in her blog. So, if you’re an HP fan and have not yet experienced Potter Puppet Pals, go here and join in the madness. And if you liked that, check out the sequel.
I will leave you with this: I LOOOOVE CHRISTMAS CANDY!!!!

Some rather pointless reflecting
Well, here I am again, reflecting on the day. Hmmmm… what is there to reflect on, though? The only thing I’ve learned today that’s worth noting is part of a 12-page Beethoven sonata I’m working on (on the piano, of course), which will sound cool once I finally get it up to speed. Right now, my fingers are a bit fumbly. (Is that a word?)
What else did I do today? Oh, I beat my dad soundly at Monopoly (I think I had about $13,000 at the end), tripped over the dog twice (she has the annoying habit of flopping down in front of my bedroom door), read Harry Potter 6 (still good the third time through), and persuaded the parents to order pizza. It was good.
Anyway, I still have mountains of homework to do, so I’d better say “Adieu” for now and get to it. I shall leave you with this: MEN OCCASIONALLY STUMBLE UPON THE TRUTH, BUT MOST JUST PICK THEMSELVES UP AND HURRY OFF AS THOUGH NOTHING HAPPENED. (Quote from some guy)

Pure, unadulterated rambling
Hello again. Guess what? Another snowday!!!!! More time to do my homework, because when I found out about the snowday yesterday night, I decided to procrastinate. I know, not very responsible, as G has already told me, but I am young and unafraid, if I might allude to “Les Miserables” there.
Let’s see… what has happened so far today that’s worth writing about? What I actually should do, I’m beginning to realize, is write my entries at night so that I can reflect on the day. I guess I will start doing that tomorrow, or today if I remember. In the meantime, I think I’ll browse Amazon, or maybe MuggleNet (yes, I only did that because I’m still fascinated with my newfound ability to do simple HTML stuff).
Anyway, I shall depart now, and leave you with this: MY MAMA MADE ME MASH MY M&M’S!!!! (One of our many odd warm-ups for chorale)

Random thoughts and two experiments
Hi. I should be in school, but we have a snowday, HURRAY!!!!!! I’m really glad because I… erm… didn’t get all my homework done for academic decathalon, which we shall henceforth refer to as aca dec. I love the teacher, but she assigns literally 30 pages of homework every three days. Not all the time, but on a fair few occasions.
Anyway, it’s snowing really really hard out there. My room is really cold, so I’m wearing sweats and leopard slippers. This is so relaxing. I needed another day just to chill before I get back into the real world of research papers (biology) and psycho teachers (chorale; we have a concert in a week and we are nowhere near ready).
You know, I think this diary is easier to write in than my other web journal, because I’m really a bloomin’ idiot when it comes to html, and this site explains it better. (I also wanted to see if that link I put in worked, haha.) And while I’m at it, and if you have a few minutes, why not check out some pure insanity here? Trust me, it’s worth visiting if you have time to kill!
OK, I’m done experimenting, and I think I’ll just go and make myself lunch now. But I shall leave you with this thought: WHETHER THE GLASS IS HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY, YOU STILL NEED A REFILL. (Heard this one from my friend J)

Very first entry!
Well hello. This is my first entry in this diary, and frankly I’m not sure what I’m doing. But that’s OK. I guess I’ll learn as I go. I really don’t know why I start online diaries anyway, because I never really know what to write in them. I mean, I can’t rant on about private stuff because anybody could wander across this page and read it. Not that they’d care about the private life of some random person, but you know what I mean. That’s another thing: who is the “you” I just referred to? I guess whoever’s reading this. OK, I won’t kid myself: whoever’s not reading this. I mean, who, in their right mind, would waste their time reading something this pointless?
OK, I’ll try to write another time with something slightly more intelligent, but right now I’m really tired; this weekend I’ve had Thanksgiving with both sides of the family. My little cousins are as cute as anything, but very very loud and rowdy. So I shall go now and leave you with this thought: KELLY ROWLAND KICKS SERIOUS BUTT!!!!!
